Turkesterone vs Creatine: Which is More Effective? [2023]

Here's the problem with supplements...

You don't really know what works and what doesn't.

It's an experimental thing for people investing beyond their normal creatine and protein supplements.

One of the newer supplements to take the industry by hype is turkesterone.

Since 2021, it's been exploding with interest.

And in 2022, we actually had some controversy with turkesterone supplements not even having the claimed amount on the label.

So are users just making placebo gains?

Is it just better to stick to creatine or are there really good natural ecdysteroids for us nattys?

Should I Get Creatine or Turkesterone?

The quick answer is that you'll want to take creatine.

The research for turkesterone isn't concrete and there are over 500 studies performed on creatine.

Creatine has been shown in hundreds of studies for its efficiency to increase strength, performance, and size.

But yet turkesterone only has a few studies, including one where it doesn't show any positive results.

While turkesterone does have one solid study that goes back to 1998 where it shows to have greater effects compared to dbol (one of the most potent steroid anabolics), the research is still very limited.

The studies aren't the only problem with turkesterone.

The other issue is supplement companies that are not putting the promised claimed amount on the label.

NootropicsDepot went through testing and found dozens of turkesterone supplements do not even have 1% of the claimed amount (even Derek from MorePlatesMoreDate's Gorilla Turkesterone).

And the upside is that creatine costs pennies per serving as it's super affordable worldwide.

More importantly, creatine is proven to be one of the safest supplements to take.

We recommend Creatine by Jacked Factory but here's a list of the best creatine supplements for more recommendations.

These are the best supplements when it comes to creatine and turkesterone.

One thing you'll find is that Huge Supplements creates some of the best natural anabolics for muscle gains without affecting your natty status.

They've made quite a few spots on our legal steroids list

Dark Labs makes hardcore supplements as well, but more with pre-workouts.

However, their turkesterone is still worthy of this list because they've proven its potency with a certificate of analysis.

You can find more turkesterone supplements here

And you can find more creatine supplements in this list.

If you're a beginner, we recommend sticking to creatine and using it for a few months before deciding to use any other supplements.

Because as a beginner, you can make a lot of muscle gains through what's called "noobie gains".

With enough patience and the right program, you'll be putting on muscle much quicker than you can imagine.

You can also use turkesterone and creatine together safely.

Creatine or Turkesterone?

When it comes to the best supplements to invest in, creatine is one of the best and most recommended across the fitness industry.

Not only does it have hundreds of studies proving its usefulness in athletes, but it's also cheap and affordable.

Turkesterone has some research and it does show potential but it's still considered to be completely experimental in what it can really do.

If there's anything in common when it comes to turkesterone vs creatine, it's that they are both natural supplements that are not considered to be steroids.

Turkesterone vs Creatine

One thing to note is that turkesterone is fairly a new supplement while creatine has been around for decades.

This means there are decades of research and studies that prove creatine to work.

While turkesterone is still new, the research hasn't been convincing that turkesterone is worth trying.

Creatine:

  • Natural amino acid derivative (not a steroid)
  • Can increase strength and power [1]
  • Converts ADP to ATP which can increase energy for muscles
  • Cheap and affordable
  • Safe to take for the long term

Turkesterone:

  • It's a ecdysteroid (not a steroid)
  • May increase muscle growth [2, 3, 4]
  • May interact through the estrogen receptor-beta receptor and PI3K/Akt signaling pathway
  • More expensive than creatine
  • Long term safety isn't known

More Research

Turkesterone still has a bit to go in terms of research and science.

But we're hopefully.

Don't take our word for it though, here's what Jeff Nippard's thoughts are on turkesterone...

Final Words

Both creatine and turkesterone are considered to be safe supplements, so even teenagers can take both of them.

Turkesterone is considered to be safe for teenagers according to current research.

Creatine and turkesterone are both natural supplements that natty's can take and not worry about their natty status.
