Let me guess…
You want to make gains.
You invest hours, weeks, months, years, heck maybe even decades bodybuilding.
But gains are slow to make, especially as a natural lifter.
You (hopefully) checked your diet, program, progress and past performance and all seems up to par.
It might just be possible to juice up on the "natty steroids" with this brassinosteroid, which is considered to be a “plant steroid”.
This harmless compound is called Laxogenin.
Laxogenin is a natural anabolic that is supposed to increase lean muscle mass without the negative side effects of similar but harsh alternatives.
But what is Laxogenin?
And is it another way for supplement companies to make a hole in your wallet?
Or is it truly an anabolic agent that flips on that switch for quicker muscle growth?
And is it better than ecdysterone and turkesterone?
Let’s find out…
Sapogenix uses a potent blend of plant-based steroids with Laxogenin to help enhance muscle growth. This is 30% off at the moment, use discount code FITFREK to get an extra 10% off.
If there's one plant-based anabolic that you need to try, it's Sapogenix.
It's an potent supplement for muscle and strength gains.
There's no risk for side effects as it only has natural steroidal saponins and you can cycle without a PCT.
You can also stack it with Ecdysterone from the same company.
It is an expensive choice but this company, Huge Nutrition, is the only one with the rights to this formula.
Meaning if you want to try this combination of ingredients of steroidal plant saponins, then you'll want to try Sapogenix, before it becomes another discontinued natural anabolic.
This is also the only natural anabolic that uses cyclosome delivery, which is only seen with prohormones like 1-Andro.
Users report at least 5-10lbs of lean gain mass during a 4-week cycle.
What other people experienced probably won't be the same for you but it is safe to experiment and report for yourself.

If there's one company that natty's that rely on, it's Huge Supplements. They create the most anabolic but natural supplements to help support muscle and strength gains.
This is the best option for pure Laxogenin without any other ingredient.
Annihilate contains 60 pills of 100mg Laxogenin, and this can last you 2 months if you only take one pill per day.
It can increase strength, testosterone and lean mass without the common side effects of synthetic steroids.
Annihilate comes from a trustworthy company, Huge Nutrition, and they also have great pre made stacks for mass building.

With 75mg Laxogenin, and over 130 servings, BulkStimulants offers an affordable option for pure Laxogenin powder.
BulkStimulants is slowly becoming a household brand for exotic stimulants and powders.
They've done this successfully, and so far, after being the go to for DMHA, DMAA, eria jarensis, and powders like these, they've slowly increased their line up of powders.
Now they have Laxogenin powder, which is a pure source of laxogenin without any other ingredient.
There's over 130 servings of 75mg laxogenin, meaning you can use this for at least a month or more, easily.
But the downside is that you'll need a scale to accurately measure out servings.
This is a solid option for value overall, as it's cheap.

Hard target is made to increase strength and muscle mass.
It doesn't only use laxogenin but it also has 7 other anabolic ingredients.
Rowdy seems to be a limited edition type of pre workout with laxogenin.
Genbolin is not a great choice. It has only 50mg laxogenin per serving with 60 pills, making it only last 2 weeks if you take a full serving.
Blackstone labs is always a solid pick but this looks like a choice with a smaller than average dose of 25mg laxogenin.
Epicatechin combined with laxogenin can be a potent formula for gains, as this is what Epi-Smash is made out of.
This is a pricey pick from Phase 1 Nutrition, but can be worth it if you're looking to get the best quality of Laxogenin.
Halo contains 100mg laxogenin but it doesn't have anything else to make it worth the price other than the brand itself.
If there's one company that you can rely on for these types of supplements, it's Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals.
Laxogenin is a brassinosteroid, or plant hormone.
Brassinosteroids are similar to animal steroid hormones in structure.
Laxogenin, an anabolic agent, is a natural alternative to harsh prohormones and steroids that have a long, distressing list of side effects.
In fact, Laxogenin and a popular anabolic steroid, Anavar, share remarkably similar anabolic and androgenic ratings.
However, Anavar has a substantial list of adverse side effects, while Laxogenin does not.
Laxogenin has been considered the alternative for Anavar as well as other anabolic steroids and prohormones.
This natural anabolic has shown promise to:
It is thought to work by increasing your body’s nitrogen retention as well as increasing protein synthesis, without having any effect on hormone levels.
Additionally, Laxogenin reduces the amount of cortisol (a stress hormone) found in the body, creating an ideal environment for decreasing body fat while building muscle, which is why something like Ashwagandha (KSM 66) is the perfect supplement to stack with.
Laxogenin is naturally derived from Smilax Sieboldii, a plant in the evergreen family native to Japan and China, or from Allium chinense bulbs, which are Chinese onions.
The synthetic form of Laxogenin found in supplements is 5a-hydroxy Laxogenin, which is extracted from the plant steroid diosgenin, found in wild yams.
Laxogenin comes in both pill and powder forms, by itself or included in a premixed supplement.
This plant steroid stacks well with other natural anabolics like epicatechin, KSM 66, etc.
And it can be used with or without a training program.
Some stack Laxogenin with steroids.
But then again, steroids and steroids can be stacked with more steroids.
Whatever it takes to make gains right?
Neither.
Although it is anabolic and has shown promise to work similarly to traditional steroids, Laxogenin will not make you test positive for prohormones or steroids.
It can be argued that it is in fact a steroid but it doesn’t change hormone levels (testosterone, estrogen, dihydrotestosterone, or any hormones).
In fact, Laxogenin can be taken to reverse the adverse effects of prohormones and steroids, as a PCT or on-cycle support.
Worst case scenario; you’ll get questioned if you start making quick gains, which is unlikely because Laxogenin isn’t as strong as anavar or SARMs for that matter.
But this means the FDA could soon put their scope on Laxogenin and they can easily make the plant steroid suddenly hard to find, even though it is oddly enough found in mustard!
There’s a lack of clinical trials showing the exact process of how this plant steroid works but what we do know is that Laxogenin has a similar anabolic (muscle building) ratio as synthetic steroids like Anavar.
But unlike Anavar, it doesn’t have the negative effects on your endocrine system (your hormone levels are not affected, during or after taking Laxogenin.
This means that you will get all of the lean muscle gains, without requiring post cycle or estrogen control.
And because Laxogenin doesn’t negatively impact your hormones, liver, or heart, you can continue to take it indefinitely.
Anabolically, plant steroids (such as Laxogenin) attach to the cell surface by receptor kinases, and are thought to trigger a signal that increases cell muscle growth.
Two derivatives of laxogenin were able to increase phosphodiesterase (cAMP) levels by stopping a particular enzyme.
Similar brassinosteroids have been shown to encourage protein synthesis and protect muscle cells by activating the Akt1 protein.
So even though your testosterone or hormone levels will not change with Laxogenin, it will increase protein synthesis to help speed up the muscle growth process.
You may consider using Laxogenin as an alternative to steroids, or even stacking it with steroids or prohormones.
Regardless of your stack, here is what Laxogenin won’t do:
Increase (Or Suppress) Hormone Levels
Synthetic steroids are usually taken in relatively high doses to promote the growth of lean muscle.
Your body eventually stops producing as much testosterone to compensate.
This means that when you stop taking the synthetic steroids, your body will produce lower levels of testosterone, which is vital to building and maintaining lean muscle mass.
Liver And Kidney Damage
Most synthetic steroids can cause serious liver damage, especially with prolonged exposure.
This is because these compounds are difficult to breakdown and can increase the risk for non-cancerous tumors to grow in the liver.
However if you do have existing liver or kidney issues, you are better off not using Laxogenin. Get approval from your doctor before using any supplement.
Testing Positive For Drug Tests
Laxogenin will not cause you to test positive for prohormones or steroids on a drug test.
Cycling And Taking Post Cycle Supplements
You do not need post cycle therapy after using Laxogenin, as it does not interfere with your hormone levels or your body’s natural production of testosterone.
Laxogenin is relatively new to the bodybuilding market, so much of the evidence we have is anecdotal, as clinical trials and studies are still being conducted.
Since it is a plant steroid, it has a remarkably similar anabolic and androgenic ratios to anabolic steroids, but will not show up on drug tests.
Check out the chemical structure here:
When Laxogenin was first available around 2010, it had many issues from ingredient absorption to adulterated material that wasn’t even Laxogenin.
Supplement companies didn’t test for purity levels and supplier materials can never be trusted without testing.
One company that does test for purity is Olympus Labs, whose tests you can find here.
Another is Bestcom Biotech who has managed to get their form of Laxogenin (Laxosterone) to 98% purity levels!
Adultered And Untested Materials
Many supplements on the market are not tested for purity and sometimes don’t even have Laxogenin at all.
In one study published by the Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, twelve Laxogenin supplements were analyzed, and five of the products did not contain any amount of Laxogenin.
Poor Absorption And Bioavailability
The other issue is absorption.
Just like the popular natural anabolic epicatechin, Laxogenin has promising effects on muscle building but they both have poor bioavailability when taken raw.
There’s a huge gap between the positive and negative reviews when it comes to these two anabolics.
Some report huge benefits while others have little to zero results.
The issue is the way the supplement is taken.
It should either be taken:
The first method works well but there are encapsulated forms that are recently coming out that seem to work just as well.
Exercise due diligence and verify that you are sourcing your Laxogenin supplement from a reputable company like Olympus Labs.
There’s a growing number of Laxogenin products but not all of them actually contain Laxogenin.
Very few companies test out their raw materials.
And if they do have laxogenin, it’ll likely not be potent enough to have any benefits.
It’s a gamble, you’re rolling the dice when you’re buying one.
If you are getting laxogenin then you should make sure you’re getting a decent percentage of purity (90% or more).
Bestcom BioTech currently has the best form of Laxogenin, called Laxosterone.
This form contains over 98% purity levels.
The second best is Olympus Labs, who has at least 90% purity levels and usually delivers more than that.
Other brands may have anywhere between 20% to 72% purity levels and some may even have none!
We’ll start with the best laxogenin supplements then move down to the other options that we’re not completely sure of (they may either have Laxogenin in prop blends, do not prove purity levels, etc).
Taking any kind of anabolic compound, whether natural or not, is useless if your diet and exercise (and maybe supplementation) isn’t in check.
Supplementation is non-essential, but using something as simple and cheap as creatine will make a massive difference.

Now for supplements, we highly recommend these staples:
Supplements are not the priority, though they may seem like they should be, they are like the extension to your diet.
If your diet is not up to par, you’ll be wasting money and time on supplementation.
The best supplements are usually formulated with a balanced profile of ingredients to maximize its effects.
And Laxogenin is best used when combined with other anabolic ingredients.
From Vaso6 for pumps and nutrient delivery to Epicatechin for recovery and further muscle growth, many of these compounds will work in synergy.
Check out these compounds which can either be bought individually or may already be in a Laxogenin supplement that you’ve looked at:
Epicatechin, HMB and Forskolin are usually used for cutting (weight loss) but they can also support muscle gain.
If you take this route then you potentially will lose your status as a “natural” and may trigger positive on a doping test.
This prohormone guide will help you choose something strong.
Any of these SARMs / Prohormones can either be stacked with laxogenin and the other natural anabolics mentioned above:
1-Testosterone by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals (1- Andro)
3-EPI-ANDRO by Steel Supplements
Metha Quad Extreme by Blackstone Labs
MK-2866 by Darkside Pharma (Ostarine)
