Most testosterone booster reviews are written by people who've never run bloodwork in their life.

This one isn't.

I ran Vitality for 8 weeks straight; two capsules every morning, no other test boosters, same training, same diet, same everything.

I pulled blood at baseline, week 4, and week 8 under controlled conditions.

Here's what actually happened.

The 8-Week Bloodwork Results (The Short Version)

Marker Baseline (Oct 6) Week 4 (Nov 7) Week 8 Reference Range
Total Testosterone ~940 ng/dL ~1,023 ng/dL ↑ ~840 ng/dL ↓ 264–915 ng/dL
SHBG 47.1 nmol/L 50.3 nmol/L Stable 18.3–54.1 nmol/L
Free T Index 69.3 70.5 Stable 35–92.6
Cortisol Normal Normal Normal
Liver Enzymes Normal Normal Normal

* Week 4 draw at 6:30 a.m. vs baseline at ~10 a.m. Morning draws naturally run higher — factored into interpretation. Week 8 matched the same early window.

Week 4 spiked above range. Week 8 dropped back, but didn't fall to baseline.

It settled at high-normal despite a chaotic month with travel, broken sleep, and inconsistent food. Free T stayed solid throughout.

No liver flags, no cortisol spikes, no red flags.

That's the summary.

Everything below explains what happened and why it matters.

The Protocol

  • 2 capsules every morning, no breaks
  • No other testosterone boosters
  • Creatine, magnesium, pre-workout on training days — nothing else changed
  • Push/pull/legs, 6 days a week, same progressive overload I always run
  • Calories and protein held steady
  • Blood draws: fasted 8–12 hours, no caffeine, no training the night before, same lab, same technician, 6:30–8:00 a.m. window

One thing worth flagging: my week 4 draw was at 6:30 a.m., my baseline was around 10 a.m. Morning draws run higher for most men. I factored that in — it explains some of the spike, not all of it. Week 8 was matched to the same early window specifically to control for this.

Week-by-Week Notes

Week 1 — Sleep quality improved noticeably. Deep nights, cleaner shutdowns. Recovery felt one notch faster.

Week 2 — Stress trended down. Mood stayed even. Nothing dramatic, just steady.

Week 3 — Workload picked up but sessions didn't fall apart. Soreness was clearing faster than usual.

Week 4 — Motivation spiked. That locked-in mid-set focus without feeling strung out. Bloodwork drawn at end of week 4.

Weeks 5–8 — Life got messy. Travel, restaurant food, sodium spikes, broken sleep, a full week where the routine slipped. This is what makes the week 8 number more meaningful than week 4. These aren't clean lab conditions — they're real

Strength Numbers

Lift Baseline Week 4 Week 8
Flat DB Bench 100s × 7 100s × 8 ↑ 45kg × 10 (cleaner) ↑
DB Curls 66s × 8 72.5s × 6 ↑ 30kg × 8 / 32.5kg × 4 ↑
Weighted Pull-up 61kg × 1 ↑

Strength moved in the right direction across 8 weeks despite the disruptions in the second half. Not explosive. Just consistent.

Vitality Ingredients

Vitality's strength lies in its ingredient label.

It uses 8 ingredients that enhance testosterone optimization from 4 different angles, starting with a foundation of zinc.

All ingredients work in synergy to enhance testosterone production and reduce estrogen levels.

According to Dr. Mark Anton, Medical Director at Slimz Weight Loss Clinic, ingredients like Ashwagandha and Shilajit, used in Vitality, have been noted to effectively aid in stress reduction and testosterone regulation when clinically standardized to verified levels.

Let’s explore each one...

Ingredient Dosage Benefits
Ashwagandha (KSM-66) 600mg Reduces stress, enhances memory, and improves sleep quality, contributing to higher testosterone.
Shilajit (PrimaVie) 250mg Supports testosterone, endurance, and energy.
Quercetin Dihydrate 250mg Antioxidant that helps maintain testosterone levels.
DIM 125mg Balances estrogen and supports testosterone production.
LJ100 100mg Boosts libido and testosterone.
BioPerine 10mg Enhances absorption of other ingredients.
Boron 5mg Supports testosterone and vitamin D levels.

Organic Ashwagadnha Extract (KSM-66, 600mg)

Ashwagandha is renowned for its stress-reducing benefits, directly lowering cortisol levels.

It also offers a range of benefits including neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, and antidiabetic properties. [1]

Research shows that supplementing with ashwagandha can enhance memory and cognitive performance, and improve sleep quality, which directly impacts testosterone levels.[1, 2]

Dr. Mark Anton highlights that consumers should look for supplements like Ashwagandha with standardized withanolides to ensure optimal efficacy, as standardization guarantees the active compound's concentration.

In a 2012 study on 64 stressed adults, those taking 300mg of ashwagandha twice daily saw significant improvements in perceived stress and overall well-being, along with a 27.9% decrease in cortisol levels. [4, 5]

Transparent Labs includes a full 600mg dose in Vitality, as used in these studies.

Shilajit Extract (PrimaVie, 250mg)

Another standout ingredient in Vitality is PrimaVie, a purified extract of shilajit.

Shilajit is packed with beneficial compounds like dibenzo-α-pyrones (DBPs), DBP-chromoproteins (DCPS), fulvic acid, and over 40 minerals. [6, 7, 8]

Historically used in Ayurvedic medicine, shilajit helps with chronic diseases and overall vitality.

PrimaVie in Vitality is specifically aimed at optimizing testosterone levels, enhancing endurance and energy, and supporting aging, collagen, and skin/bone health. [6, 7, 8]

Max Shemesh, CEO of Aventus8, stresses that ensuring clinically effective doses of Shilajit, such as those used in Vitality, is essential for maximizing its benefits and maintaining safety.

Quercetin Dihydrate (250mg)

Quercetin is a powerful flavonoid polyphenol found in many foods like onions, coffee, and wine. [9]

Known for its antioxidant properties, it also boasts anti-inflammatory, antiviral, anticarcinogenic, and anti-allergenic benefits. [10, 9]

In Vitality, quercetin functions as a mild testosterone booster by inhibiting the enzyme UGT2B17, which breaks down testosterone. [11]

Research also shows it can help prevent testicular damage, maintaining healthy testosterone levels.

DIM (Diindolymethane, 125mg)

DIM (Diindolylmethane) is crucial for hormone optimization, acting as an aromatase antagonist to help balance estrogen levels. [12]

It does this by inhibiting estrogen absorption and promoting a healthy ratio of good to bad estrogen. [13]

Stella Zaimi, CEO of Illinois Back Institute, emphasizes the importance of supplements backed by scientific studies confirming effective doses, like DIM, to ensure they contribute meaningfully to hormone optimization.

DIM can be found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower, and it's essential for both men's and women's health. [14] [15]

In Vitality, DIM helps prevent high estrogen levels and supports increased testosterone levels.

LJ100 (100mg)

Longjack, also known as Eurycoma longifolia or Tongkat Ali, is a key ingredient in testosterone supplements for its ability to boost sex drive and virility.

Historical use and modern research both support its efficacy.

Studies show that Tongkat Ali can increase libido by 10.8% after 12 weeks and improve testosterone levels and muscular strength at a 400mg daily dose. [17, 16]

Vitality uses the trademarked version LJ100, which contains standardized eurypeptides and glycosaponins for optimal benefits.

The 100mg dose of LJ100 in Vitality is more effective than non-standardized doses of 300-400mg.

Bioperine (10mg)

BioPerine, a trademarked black pepper extract standardized to 95% piperine, enhances the bioavailability of other ingredients.

When you see BioPerine in a formula, you know you're getting the most out of your supplement.

Boron (Bororganic Glycine, 5mg)

Boron, bonded with glycine for better bioavailability, is gaining popularity for its wide range of health benefits.

It increases testosterone and vitamin D levels. [18]

Studies show that boron can reduce estrogen levels while increasing free testosterone.

Additionally, it benefits prostate health by associating higher vitamin D levels with lower BPH risk. [19]

Boron has been increasing in popularity because of it's wide range of benefits for health.

The Honest Verdict

The week 4 spike was real but partially explained by draw timing.

The week 8 number settling at 840 ng/dL after a chaotic month — rather than crashing back to 940 or lower — is the more interesting data point.

Free T stayed stable throughout. Strength moved in the right direction.

Recovery and stress tolerance felt meaningfully better, particularly in weeks 1–4.

Is this proof Vitality works?

No single n=1 experiment is proof of anything.

What it shows is that under my conditions, with this protocol, the numbers moved in the expected direction and didn't blow up.

That's more than most reviews can claim.

FAQ

How long until you see results? Sleep and stress improvements came in week 1 for me. Energy by week 3. Bloodwork changes took 4 weeks.

Does the testosterone rise hold long-term? My week 8 data suggests it stabilizes at high-normal rather than spiking indefinitely. That's actually the realistic and healthy outcome.

Is it worth the price? At $49.99 it's on the higher end for a test booster. The formula is legitimate and fully dosed, which puts it above most of the competition at that price.

Can women use it? The formula isn't designed for women, though DIM and ashwagandha are used in women's health contexts separately.

Where to buy? Direct from Transparent Labs. Use code FITFREK at checkout.

Who It's For

Natural lifters in their 30s and up who want to optimize what they already have. Not a shortcut. Not a replacement for sleep, training, and diet. If those are already in place, this is a reasonable addition.

Not for you if you're looking for a stimulant effect or expecting significant visible changes in a month.
