Quick Verdict
What it is A single-ingredient phosphatidic acid supplement built around long-term mTOR signaling.
My result Eight weeks, consistent split and calories โ€” no clear strength or recovery advantage in my logbook.
Best for Advanced lifters deliberately testing a subtle long-term ingredient.
Bottom line An mTOR signal is not the same as guaranteed new tissue. Growth is an experiment, not a reliable muscle builder for most people.

Growth was hard to separate from normal training. I kept my calories and split consistent for eight weeks and watched the logbook closely. My estimated bench strength was essentially unchanged, weighted pull-ups stayed at 65 pounds, and I did not see a clear recovery advantage.

That does not mean phosphatidic acid can never work. It means an mTOR signal is not the same as guaranteed new tissue. Training, nutrition and progression still have to create the conditions for growth.

Phosphatidic acid is biologically involved in mTOR signaling, and some trials have reported positive strength or body-composition outcomes, but the evidence is not strong enough to portray signaling as guaranteed hypertrophy.

Growth is the product I wanted to work but could not objectively separate from normal variation

The bench sets look different, but estimated strength was effectively unchanged within normal day-to-day variation โ€” and the week-eight set fell at the end of a fatiguing block. This does not prove Growth reduced performance; it means the logbook did not show a clear supplement effect.

Final Verdict
Growth concentrates entirely on one long-term signal โ€” 750mg phosphatidic acid โ€” and across a structured eight-week personal test my logbook did not show a clear strength or recovery advantage. That doesn't prove it can't work, but it's a subtle-or-absent effect aimed at advanced lifters.
For most people, a multi-ingredient formula you can actually feel โ€” like Build โ€” is the better buy, and neither product replaces creatine, protein, calories and progression.
FitFrek score: 5.5/10.
FAQ
Did Growth work during the eight-week test? โ–ผ
There was no clear strength or recovery advantage in the logbook. The result was effectively neutral.
Does Growth force muscle growth through mTOR? โ–ผ
No. Phosphatidic acid participates in anabolic signaling, but activating a signal does not guarantee measurable new muscle.
How long should I take it? โ–ผ
The brand recommends at least six weeks, but one container only covers 30 days โ€” so a single container doesn't reach the minimum suggested test period.
Is it worth it over Build? โ–ผ
For most people, no. Build produced noticeable pumps, endurance and recovery in testing, while Growth's effect was subtle or absent. See the Growth vs Build comparison.
