Bottom Line

The Chosen1 is a prohormone blend of 1-DHEA, or 1-Andro.

It's a popular prohormone made by Blackstone Labs and it's been a top seller for years now.

Designed to increase strength, mass and aggression, it's one of the best designed and bioavailable blends of prohormones.

It has a unique liposomal delivery system to help increase absorption rate by at least 80%, according to Blackstone Labs.

With potential of being a potent prohormone and not having any effect on estrogen, could this really be the chosen one of prohormones?

Chosen1 has been a popular prohormone for years now.

And for good reason too.

It has a blend of DHEA compounds that is enhanced with a delivery system that increases the absorption from 30% to nearly 100%.

It's what Blackstone Labs uses for their hardcore supplements, it's called the liposomal delivery system.

It might be what makes the difference between Chosen1 and other 1-DHEA prohormone supplements.

And because there's multiple 1-DHEA compounds, you're sure to respond to at least one of them.

But the problem with 1-Andro is that there's very little research done on it.

Let's dig more into Chosen1…

Chosen1 Ingredients

Chosen1 contains a 65mg proprietary blend of 1-DHEA compounds.

Because of their liposomal delivery system, it should help increase absorption up to 100% (from 30%).

1-DHEA is notorious for having poor bioavailability and this might help solve it.

But because there's little research done on 1-DHEA, let alone studies done with an ingredient profile like Chosen1, it's hard to say what it can do for sure.

Only one study has been done and they found 1-DHEA did in fact increase strength and muscle mass, but at the cost of liver and kidney function and higher cholesterol levels.

That's why we recommend an on-cycle supplement as well as a post cycle to reduce side effects of any harsh prohormone like this one.

But if you wanted our recommendation, we would advise against using Chosen1, and jumping straight to a natural but strong version of Laxogenin, called Sapogenix.

Sapogenix contains an anabolic blend of plant-based steroids that even Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals even used for one of their supplements.

Chosen1 Results

If there's one thing for certain is that Chosen1 does work.

But if it works, it doesn't mean it's worth it as there's a cost to the benefits.

The results vary and it isn't backed by research, but users have left reviews on Chosen1.

Many report more muscle mass, more strength and better performance all over in their workouts.

Although there are benefits and upsides to Chosen1, or any 1-Andro supplement, there's also a cost.

We'll dig into the side effects next…

Chosen1 Safety and Side Effects

The issue we have with Chosen1 is that there isn't many studies done on the compounds used.

1-DHEA has little to no research, and in fact, there's only one study showing it does increase muscle and strength, but at the cost of damaged liver and kidney function, as well as elevated “bad” cholesterol.

Users also often stack Chosen1 with Metha-Quad,

Metha-Quad not only contains 1-Andro but it also has 4-Andro and Arimistane, both of which we've written guides about.

Stacking Chosen1 could intensify the side effects, especially when it's with other 1-DHEA variations.

And again, none of the 1-DHEA variations have reliable data showing it's safety and effectiveness.

Chosen1 Or Sapogenix

Chosen1 contains a potent anabolic blend of 1-DHEA compounds that could be damaging to your health, including organs and cholesterol levels.

You can minimize the effects by taking a PCT supplement.

It's well known that Laxogenin can increase strength, and has similar anabolic properties of steroids but without the side effects like acne, aggression, or organ damage.

Sapogenix is even more potent than Laxogenin as it has a strong blend of natural plant-based steroids.

The ingredients are derived from diosorea makino, which contain bioactive compounds that include Progenin III, Pseudoprotodioscin, Methyl Protodioscin, Dioscin, Iridoid Glycosides and 6-keto-disogenin.

This extract is standardized to have 40% Protodioscin, 60% total furostanolic saponins, and 90% total saponins, including Diosgenin and 5a-Hydroxy-Laxogenin.

The reason why it's so anabolic is because of it's bioactive constituents that have not only anabolic effects but also aphrodisiac.

The protodioscin helps the body increase testosterone production by increasing luteinizing hormone (LH), a hormone normally released by the pituitary glands to help regulate testosterone.

You may have heard of saponins from tribulus terrestris but studies have proved that tribulus terrestris won't increase testosterone production.

As a bonus, there's also some Laxogenin included in the blend.

To help with absorption, Sapogenix uses cyclosome delivery technology, which is a patented ingredient by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals.

It's no wonder Sapogenix is one of the legal supplements that are like steroids.

Use Sapogenix for 4-8 weeks and then take a break before trying another cycle of it, and use discount code FITFREK.

Blackstone's Potent 1-DHEA Blend

When it comes to hardcore supplements, Blackstone Labs delivers.

The days where you could put anything strong in a supplement without knowing the side effects are gone.

The Chosen1 has a strong blend of 1-DHEA variants but it comes at the cost of decreased organ function, higher cholesterol levels and other unknown side effects.

Use a PCT and an on-cycle to reduce or prevent these issues.

1-DHEA may suppress your natural hormones, like testosterone and elevate estrogen, but we can't back this up yet as there isn't enough research done on it.

I recommend using a safer but potentially more potent anabolic supplement that doesn't have these side effects like Sapogenix.

Making Gains From Chosen1

Chosen1 seems to work with increasing muscle mass and strength but it comes with side effects, and an unknown safety profile.
