Transparent Labs Stim-Free Review: Is It Worth It?

Reviews
Updated Oct 20, 2026

Transparent Labs Stim-Free is a broad caffeine-free pre-workout with 8 grams of citrulline malate, 4 grams of beta-alanine, betaine, taurine, tyrosine, and branded performance ingredients. It suits late training and stimulant breaks, but the large scoop is not for everyone.

Quick verdict

Best for Late-day training, stimulant breaks, and caffeine-sensitive lifters.
Main strength A broad formula for pumps, endurance, hydration, and focus without caffeine.
Main drawback A large serving with 4 grams of beta-alanine and 100 micrograms of Huperzine-A.
FitFrek take One of the more complete non-stim formulas, but not a minimalist pump product.

What makes it different?

Many stimulant-free pre-workouts stop at pumps. This formula combines citrulline malate with beta-alanine, betaine, taurine, tyrosine, SenActiv, elevATP, BioPerine, and Huperzine-A.

That gives it broader performance coverage, but also makes the serving larger and more complex than a simple citrulline or nitrate powder.

N
Historical versioned firsthand experience

I used an earlier Stim-Free formula several times. The scoop was large, but I felt focused during training and the focus carried into the hours afterward. I barely noticed the beta-alanine tingles because I was already accustomed to it.

The current formula is materially different, so those notes remain historical rather than a current-formula test.

Pros and cons

Pros
No caffeine or stimulant crash.
Strong pump and endurance base.
Includes focus ingredients.
Useful for evening training and stimulant breaks.
Cons
Large serving.
Four grams of beta-alanine can cause strong tingling.
Huperzine-A may not suit every daily-use routine.
Does not provide the acute drive of caffeine.

Who should take it?

People training close to bedtime. Caffeine-sensitive lifters. Anyone taking a stimulant break without giving up performance ingredients. Lifters who prefer one broad non-stim formula over several powders. Anyone who strongly dislikes beta-alanine tingles. People who only want a simple pump formula. Anyone expecting a high-stim feeling.

How to use it

Serving
1 current labeled serving
Timing
Before training

Take one current labeled serving before training. First-time users should assess it alone before stacking more beta-alanine, betaine, or Huperzine-A.

Safety and cautions

Med Beta-alanine tingling is common and is not the same as energy. Medication use, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and medical conditions warrant individual guidance.

Final verdict: is it worth it?

Stim-Free is worth considering when you want a complete caffeine-free training formula rather than a pump-only product. It covers more performance categories than most minimalist non-stims.

The trade-off is complexity: a large scoop, high beta-alanine dose, and Huperzine-A. Choose it for broad performance coverage, not simplicity.
