PlasmaJet is THE nitric oxide go-to supplement for everlasting and strong pumps.
Reformulating a legendary product seems impossible for most companies, but Gaspari made it look easy. The ingredients work synergistically to provide not only a nut-busting pump, but vasodilation that lasts all day long.
Here we jump into the ingredients and explain in-depth what good they do and how they work together. I'll also compare it to the most popular N.O. products of today...
If there's one thing you'd need to understand about Gaspari...
It's that they know how to create legendary products.
But who would want to reformulate an awesome product, and wouldn't it suck as much as other reformulations?
Well that's the challenge Gaspari faced here but they seem to have come through strong.
They've not only brought back PlasmaJet but Superpump 250 (with DMAA!) and Halodrol.
Size On is one product that they've kept going out of their original and strong line of supplements.Â
Here we'll focus on PlasmaJet, dissect every ingredient and see if it really lives up to it's name.
Gaspari Nutrition's Plasmajet has been reformulated multiple times and is currently available in a new and improved formula. However, if you're looking for alternatives, we recommend checking out this list of nitric oxide supplements.
It might be safe to assume this is just another citrulline and agmatine supplement.
But that assumption could not be more wrong.
PlasmaJet is not based soley on those commonly used ingredients.
In fact, they are using ingredients that are not used in nitric oxide supplements.
Most companies stuff agmatine, citrulline and a bunch of nitric oxide boosters and call it the ultimate formula.
Meanwhile, Gaspari is out here using ingredients that won't only increase pumps, but also prolong them and make them last all day.
While this is made to stack with Superpump 250 (DMAA powered nitric oxide pre workout), it makes a great standalone and it even has a bit of caffeine (50mg) if you're looking to cycle caffeine.Â
Â
PlasmaJet looks to be the ultimate nitric oxide supplement but don't take our word for it, you should read into the ingredients below...
There's literally dozens, if not maybe hundreds of nitric oxide boosters.Â
Most of them use either agmatine or arginine and maybe some citrulline and a couple other things.
But you will most likely not find something that is as strategically put together as PlasmaJet.Â
Each ingredient plays an important role in nitric oxide production and will further increase it by preventing the breakdown of arginine.
The biggest difference between PlasmaJet and other nitric oxide boosters it that this has a formula that'll keep you pumped and full all day long.Â
This just may have the potential to take the crown from the long time popular N.O. booster, Hemavo2 Max.Â
If you're tampering off caffeine, PlasmaJet is perfect as it has 50 mg of caffeine.Â
So whether you're stacking PlasmaJet or not, keep in mind it does have a bit of caffeine and you'd be adding more if you use something else with it.
Feeling dizzy already?
Most people don't bother to read labels, but now you've got an excuse. Look at those names...
Never fear though, we'll make it easy to understand as we get into it.
Unlike the previous version of PlasmaJet, every serving of this has 4 pills, instead of 10.
And it's not recommended to use this more than 5 times per week.
It's been 10 years since PlasmaJet was first released and this is the first reformulation they've had, so it'd be safe to assume that they did not hold back in making this the ultimate formula.Â
N(omega)-hydroxy-nor-l-arginine & boron amino acid chelate
Both of these amino's prevent the breakdown of arginine by inhibiting the arginase enzyme.Â
While you probably never seen them used in a pump supplement before, they play a vital role in this formula.
These two ingredients allow arginine to remain elevated in your blood as it prevents it from breaking down.
This is what makes PlasmaJet different than 99% of nitric oxide boosters out there...
Unlike most pump products out there, PlasmaJet doesn't only elevate nitric oxide levels, but it helps it remain elevated for a longer period of time.Â
So as hard as the pumps will be, your muscles will remain pumped.
Most N.O. boosters will increase pumps, but they tend to disappear and they don't have the ingredients to prevent the breakdown of arginine.Â
PJ starts off strong with these 2 ingredients. Pumps will be strong, all day long.
Here we have a caffeine blend consisiting of various extracts including green coffee beans, green tea and theobroma cocoa seed.Â
These ingredients have methylxanthines (where caffeine is from).
There are many benefits from having these extracts including the fact that they have xanthines which will not only increase alertness by fighting off sleepiness, but also increase oxygen uptake to muscles by acting as a bronchodilator. Â
At low doses like these, they work synergistically to increase vasorelaxation (eNOS) so veins are enlarged to increase NO naturally.Â
Your veins are literally gaining size so blood flow is increased and the arginase inhibitors (mentioned above) are continously working to keep NO levels elavated all day long.
It's a unique and effective approach to having the pump longer, harder and stronger.
You probably can't pronounce this, but this is traditionally used for erectile enhancements.Â
No Gaspari is not getting any weird ideas here... (Imagine?)
It's weird seeing chinese medicene that's meant for erectile dysfunction here but it has some benefits for us pump chasers here.
While this is considered to be the herbal version of Viagra, this increases nitric oxide through phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibition.
Good old caffeine.
At low doses, as mentioned, is beneficial for increased vasodilation so it has benefits for the pump here.
If you're on a stim break, this may actually be the perfect pre-workout for you as it has a tiny dosage of caffeine that you will still benefit from.
You won't feel like you've got to jump off walls but at least you'll be able to tamper down with stimulants if you use PlasmaJet.
" PlasmaJet first relaxes our veins and enlarges them on a physical level, Nitric Oxide is then maximized to product maximum blood flow and vasodilation, and then the Arginase inhibitors make sure that Nitric Oxide continues to grow and surge all throughout the workout. It’s this 3 pronged approach that makes PlasmaJet so unique, while everyone else is stuck with a single and narrow minded approach. "

Another xanthine ingredient here that is rarely used.Â
While it's never really used in nitric oxide supplements, it has some nice benefits here.
Hypoxanthine riboside, aka inosine, can increase performance though this has never really been scientifically proven.Â
It should help increase stamina for longer lasting performance.
This is ATP, the same ingredient that was used in Gaspari's original PlasmaJet.
This highly bioavailable ingredient has kinds of benefits including increased performance (like for jumping, sprinting, and lifting).
The body depletes ATP when it comes to lifting (or any other similar activity) and it can also regenerate it, so having ATP as an ingredient here should help keep it at optimal levels.
This here is the strong version rauwolscine.Â
Also known as Alpha Yohimbine, it's a strong alpha-2 antagonist which can help prevent the storage of fat.
It can help promote healthy blood pressure levels. Â
With DMAA in Superpump, Alpha Y will help prevent hypertension so this makes it another reason to combine stack them both together.

You've probably heard of "wet pumps" right?
That's what HydroMax does, it provides water-based pumps as it helps muscles pull in more water, and theoretically, more nutrients.
Commonly used in nitric oxide supplements, HydroMax is a high yield form of glycerol (65% by mass).Â
It's a strong volumizer and helps muscles look more full by swelling them up.
You'll essentially be super hydrated as your body is able to hold on to more water.
Expect more endurance and long lasting fullness that lasts more than a day!
If you like citrulline, you'll love citrulline silicate even more...
While there's no research done on this ingredient (yet), this should produce similar but steller results like Inositol Arginine Silicate, which was proven to keep nitric oxide levels elevated for up to 2 weeks.
PlasmaJet is one of the few N.O. supplements using citrulline silicate (Superpump 250, Wicked by Innovative Labs, and Pump HD seems to be using it as well).
Expect amazing pumps from this ingredient alone. Imagine stacking it with Superpump 250? Wicked pumps all over the place!Â
Choline is known to enhance focus and the mind's ability to connect with the body.
It's found in eggs and is able to increase fat loss by increasing the body's concentration of betaine.Â
This is another reason why PlasmaJet is the perfect pre workout for those cycling off caffeine as it has a bit of caffeine and choline to increase concentration and focus.Â
" We weren’t joking when we said that Gaspari has completely revamped the [PlasmaJet] formula and seriously upgraded one of the best known pump products of all time. "

Phosphatidylserine is known to be a super ingredient for the brain as it increases cognitive functions and keeps them at optimal levels.Â
This fat soluble amino acid can be found in the brain but it can decline with age.Â
The benefits don't stop there.
Studies have found that Phosphatidylserine can increase testosterone levels after exercise, and just like phosphatidic acid, it can activate mTOR production.Â
Phosphatidylcholine is a phospholipid molecule that is a major part of fat in blood proteins.
Its purpose here is to assist with the liposomal delivery of all the ingredients in here.
It can enhance the effects of ergogenic ingredients such as ATP, making them much more effective.Â
Last but definitely not least is potassium.
This isn't just regular potassium though, it's bonded to the amino acid glycine which makes it much more absorbable.Â
It'll help keep you hydrated and allows for your muscles to be used at maximum efficiency.Â
Pop 4 pills (no more than that!) and you're primed for pumps (30-60 minutes before workout).
Take no more than 5 days a week. It's that strong...
Over the past few years we've seen nitric oxide boosters come and go.
Well mostly they went, but only one stayed and earned the crown to be the king of pumps.
You guessed it, it was Hemav02 Max and their previous version (Hemavol).
Well to be honest, there are tons of great N.O. boosters out there but that won the popularity vote as they did have a solid formula with nitrates and all.
But now that PlasmaJet is out and available, can it outperform it?
You've probably had the question "PlasmaJet or HemaVO2 Max?" so we'll do a comparison of them both.
(Note: If you'd like free supplement samples to try out and see what works for you, click here)
HemaVO2Â and PlasmaJet are two products in the same category of nitric oxide boosters but they both have very different strategies.Â
HemaVO2 focuses on elevating N.O. levels with nitrates, swells up muscles with a big dosage of HydroMax and tops it off with mood enhancing ingredients to keep your mind well connected to your body.
PlasmaJet doesn't only increase N.O. levels with HydroMax and citrulline silicate but it keeps it elevated and protects arginine from being broken down for a longer period of time.
It also uses a tiny dose of stimulants to promote vasorelaxation to increase blood flow.Â
The main differences between the two nitric oxide boosters are highlighted below in the picture...
The ingredients in HemaVO2 have mainly 2 purposes; blast your muscles into pump city, and increase your mental functions so you're able to focus on destroy every single muscle fiber.
It has no stimulants at all so it's perfect to use in the evening, though PlasmaJet only has 50mg of caffeine which isn't bad for most people.
Check out the ingredients below...
PlasmaJet runs at $25 for a full month's supply (20 servings, can't take more than 5 times per week), while HemaVO2 is priced at $34.99 for 25 servings (up to 2 servings per workout).
PlasmaJet may have the edge here as it's got a 4 pills per serving, no matter what, used no more than 5 times a week.
So the question comes down to, do you want to pay extra for the powdered version of nitric oxide and have the pump run you for a few hours or have the pump and fullness last you all day, possibly into the next morning?Â
