Transparent Labs Grass-Fed Collagen now provides 22 grams of hydrolyzed bovine collagen peptides per serving. That is a much larger formula than the version I originally reviewed, so this page keeps my firsthand notes clearly separated from the current label.
The current powder uses types I and III collagen from grass-fed bovine hide. The product page lists 22 grams of collagen peptides, 20 grams of protein, 90 calories, and 3 grams of carbohydrate per serving, with flavored and unflavored options.
The main selling point is the large collagen dose in one scoop. It is a specialist product, not a general-purpose protein powder.
I used an earlier version for about a month. My skin felt more hydrated, fine lines seemed less noticeable, and my joints felt slightly smoother after training. It also mixed cleanly into hot and cold drinks.
That test used an older formula and serving size. These are historical impressions, not proof that the current 22-gram version will produce the same result.
Mix one current labeled serving into 6–10 ounces of hot or cold liquid. Timing is flexible; regular use matters more than taking it at a specific hour.
It is worth considering when you want a large, convenient collagen serving from a transparent formula. My older test was positive, but the current version should be judged on its current label rather than borrowed results.
Buy it for collagen convenience. Do not buy it expecting one powder to replace adequate protein, sleep, or a structured training plan.
