Editorial independence
FitFrek separates staff editorial conclusions, member reviews, reward administration, retailer offers, and affiliate revenue. Retailers, brands, commissions, free products, and review rewards do not buy a positive conclusion, suppress criticism, or change community-review weighting.
Evidence and corrections
Editorial claims should identify the product/version and rely on traceable labels, manufacturer information, direct testing when stated, or reputable research. Health or performance claims are qualified to the strength and limits of that evidence. Material errors are corrected in the live article; significant concerns may be held while reviewed.
Prices and deals
Price and deal tools compare only supported tracked retailers and markets. “Lowest” means the lowest listed qualifying offer in that selected set, not the entire internet. Where individually verified observations exist, stale, failed, unavailable, and out-of-stock observations do not qualify; where that freshness evidence is unavailable, the surface says so and does not claim freshly verified stock. Price-history summaries use normalized saved observations: a 90-day typical value is a median shown only when history meets the existing usability and observation rules, a prior 30-day low is a separate comparison, and “days at this price” is the stored age of the current normalized price rather than proof of a recent stock check. A Retailer Pick is separate from lowest price and affiliate compensation does not determine either ranking. Coupons, automatic discounts, memberships, subscriptions, shipping, tax, region, currency conversion, variant, and stock conditions are included only when expressly shown; FitFrek does not assume a numeric shipping charge. Confirm the product, availability, and final total with the retailer, which remains the seller.

Member reviews remain attributed community content, not staff endorsement. Approval checks publication rules; evidence labels and material-connection badges state what FitFrek knows about the circumstances.
