Bottom Line

Dark Labs' Crack Undead is a pre-workout supplement that packs a powerful stimulant punch.

This pre-workout is not for the faint-hearted, with its potent stimulant profile making it one of the strongest on the market.

Dark Labs, known for their hardcore supplement line, has outdone themselves with Crack Undead.

While I find Crack Undead to be more potent than its counterparts, it doesn't necessarily translate to being superior.

If you're lucky enough to find it in stock, use the discount code FITFREK.

However, it's often sold out and has been superseded by Crack Barbarian, which you can find here.

CHECK IT OUT

Crack Undead by Dark Labs was like a comet in the pre-workout universe - it blazed bright, but its presence was fleeting.

It hit the market for a brief period before it seemingly made way for its successor, Crack Barbarian.

But let's be real here, Crack Undead was a powerhouse.

The stimulant rush was intense, and the heart rate acceleration was nothing short of a sprint.

In contrast, Crack Barbarian, which we've also reviewed, seemed to hit that sweet spot of effects.

Perhaps Crack Undead's was due to its high-quality source of stimulants.

But Dark Labs is no stranger to pushing boundaries.

While the Crack series has traditionally been all about that DMAA life, it's refreshing to see them branching out with different stimulants and labels, even under the familiar Crack branding.

In the sections below, we'll dig into my personal experience with Crack Undead, breakdown its ingredients, and see how it stacks up against other Dark Labs pre-workouts.

Ready to dive in? Let's get started...

My Experience

Think you've braved the storm of the most potent pre-workouts? Well, brace yourself for Crack Undead.

This pre-workout is not just a ride, it's a rollercoaster.

Crack Undead boasts both DMHA and DMBA, stimulants I'm no stranger to. I've got them stockpiled, so I'm well-versed in their effects.

But let me tell you, the stimulant punch packed by Crack Undead is on another level, even though it's the same stuff I've been using.

I've had my rounds with Crack Gold, but... this is a whole new ball game.

Within a mere 10 minutes of downing Crack Undead, I can feel the familiar surge of energy coursing through me.

But as the 30-minute mark approaches, the sense of urgency starts to build, and beyond that, it's almost like a tidal wave.

It doesn't halt my workout, but it sure makes me work double-time to regulate my heart rate, especially after those hefty compound lifts.

The focus and energy are off the charts, but it feels like it's a marathon for the heart, and I'm sprinting just to keep up with the recovery.

This is one for the fitness veterans, and even then, it's not to be taken lightly.

I give it a thumbs up, but with a word of caution: consider starting with half a scoop. Trust me, the full scoop experience is like a wild horse race for the heart.

Crack Undead Ingredients

While Dark Labs is known for creating hardcore pre-workouts, Crack Undead is clearly one of the stronger ones we've used from them.

In fact, we find it too strong and it can get uncomfortable if the workout intensity is high enough.

So for this, we recommend being careful with this one.

Citrulline (6g):

This amino acid is naturally produced in your body and found in foods like watermelon. It's known to improve blood flow, which can enhance athletic performance.

Beta-Alanine (3.2g):

Beta-Alanine is a non-essential amino acid that your body uses to produce carnosine, a substance that helps improve muscle endurance in high-intensity exercise.

Agmatine Sulfate (1g):

Agmatine plays a role in influencing receptors associated with pain perception. While it has weak general analgesic properties, it does show dose-dependent pain-relieving effects in treating neuropathic pain.

Alpha GPC (500mg):

Alpha GPC is used to improve memory, learning, and thinking skills by increasing acetylcholine in the brain, a chemical that plays a crucial role in memory and learning functions.

N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (500mg):

Tyrosine is a supplement that may help improve alertness, attention, and focus.

Black Pepper Extract (10mg):

Piperine, the active compound in black pepper, has been shown to improve brain function in animal studies. It has demonstrated potential benefits for symptoms related to degenerative brain conditions.

Beta Phenylethylamine (750mg):

This compound is a trace amine and influencer of many neurotransmitters, including dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine. It's often used in pre-workout supplements due to its mood-enhancing and cognitive benefits, potentially improving focus and mood during workouts.

Eria Jarensis Extract (500mg):

This extract is a source of phenylethylamine compounds. It can increase levels of various neurotransmitters (dopamine and noradrenaline) in the brain, which can provide a mood boost and increase focus, energy, and motivation.

DMHA (350mg):

Also known as Octodrine, DMHA is a stimulant that boosts energy levels and focus. It's often used as a replacement for DMAA in pre-workout supplements.

Caffeine Anhydrous (300mg):

This is a dehydrated form of caffeine, acting as a central nervous system stimulant. It's commonly used to increase energy and improve focus during workouts.

Caffeine Citrate (225mg):

This is another form of caffeine that is absorbed faster than caffeine anhydrous, providing a quicker onset of effects.

Halostachine (150mg):

Halostachine is a stimulant that is structurally similar to ephedrine and pseudoephedrine. It's believed to have fat-burning properties and can provide an energy boost.

2-amino-4-methylpentane HCl (150mg):

This compound is a powerful central nervous system stimulant that can enhance energy levels, mental focus, and metabolic rate.

Hordenine (50mg):

Hordenine is a natural compound often used in weight loss supplements for its potential to stimulate metabolic rate and promote fat loss.

Naringin (25mg):

Naringin is a flavonoid compound found in grapefruits and other citrus fruits. It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It's also been shown to enhance the effects of other supplements, particularly stimulants like caffeine.

Alpha Yohimbine (1.75mg):

This is a form of yohimbine, which is often used for fat loss. It can also increase energy levels and potentially enhance athletic performance.
