Quick Verdict

What it is A current 30 g ready-to-drink milk-protein shake whose taste/product version changed after the original launch.
My previous test Vanilla was better than Salted Caramel; Salted Caramel was stronger and sweeter in the bottles I tested.
Important Those observations belong to the bottle version shown in the test footage and are not presented as a current-version retest.
Bottom line Strong current convenience/macros. Based on the bottle version I tested, my experience score is 7.0/10; the current reformulated version still needs a retest.

Who It's For

Previous Version Test

Tested-version experience: 7.0/10. I tried Vanilla and Salted Caramel from an earlier or unresolved bottle version. Vanilla was easier to drink; Salted Caramel was stronger and sweeter than I wanted.

Current-version score: Pending retest. Transparent Labs documented a taste update, so the earlier bottle experience is not presented as a current-formula rating.

How to Use the Protein Shake

Serve it cold and shake the bottle before drinking. The point is convenience: no powder, water, or shaker bottle is required.

Use it when a normal meal or mixed protein shake is inconvenient rather than assuming the bottle is automatically a better value than powder.

Final Verdict

The current Protein Shake makes sense as a convenience product: 30 g protein, efficient macros and no preparation.

My Vanilla and Salted Caramel test still tells you what I thought of the bottles I actually tried, but the product changed after launch and I cannot honestly turn that older/unresolved test into a current score.

Tested-version FitFrek score: 7.0/10. Current-version score: Pending retest.
