Bottom Line

While Jack3d may seem to be back with DMAA, we recommend skipping it and instead check out our DMAA list here.

Though Jack'd Up is mostly a proprietary blend, most ingredients are disclosed so you know if you can include and stack other supplements with it (like nitric oxide boosters).

It's the next best DMAA-based pre workout out there today.

Unfortunately, Jacked Up pre workout has been discontinued. However, there are several other pre workouts available that also contain DMAA, providing a similar experience. Here are a few alternatives:

Crack Pre Workout

Crack by Dark Labs is a popular choice among fitness enthusiasts. It packs 120mg of DMAA along with nitrates and nitric oxide boosters, providing a strong and long-lasting energy boost.

Strongest Pre Workouts

If you're looking for the most potent pre workouts on the market, this list has got you covered. Many of these pre workouts contain more than 300mg of caffeine and exotic stimulants, making them some of the most powerful options available.

More DMAA Supplements

For those who are specifically interested in DMAA supplements, this list provides a variety of options. From Firestorm by Global Supremacy to Crack by Dark Labs, these pre workouts are sure to give you the energy boost you need.

Jack'd Ingredients

That looks like a terrible proprietary blend at first glance.

You can see there's 4 different types of creatine, with agmatine after DMAA, which means it'll be a lower dose than the powerful stimulant which is usually dosed well below 65mg. Ha!

Terrible Hi-Tech. But wait a second….

This pre workout is meant to ramp you up, get you focused and blast through your workout with full out energy.

Not so much for nitric oxide.

And there's actually a perfect nitric oxide based supplement you can take with Jack'd Up which'll get you VERY pumped and feeling unstoppable!

But unlike most proprietary blends (See this guide with fully disclosed pre workouts) , this blend is actually a bit more disclosed, thanks to Hi-Tech and their openness to share.

Here's what we know…

  • DMAA (25mg)
  • Caffeine (100mg)
  • Creatine (2g)
  • Beta Alanine (1.3g)

Knowing those dosages gives us a better idea of what the rest of the undisclosed ingredients may look like…

There is at least 2 grams of arginine AKG, roughly 500mg of creatine nitrate, and less than 25mg of agmatine sulfate.

DMAA is fairly dosed as you can take up to 3 scoops to get the benefits from the other ingredients like nitrates and beta-alanine.

Really you should avoid taking more than 50mg of DMAA, as dosages of 75mg or more has been shown to increase blood pressure by at least 20%!

So per 1 scoop, the blend is a joke.

But if you take at least 2 scoops, you'll be smashing through your workouts like the hulk drinking 20 espresso's.

You may get a little be pumped from the nitric oxide in here but you should be stacking it with another non-stimulant N.O. supplement for a full nasty pump.

L-Arginine Alpha-Kenoglurate

On it's own, arginine is useless.

But when it's combined with other nitric oxide boosters, it's a tiny bit better.

It's been shown to increase endurance and strength but looking at this prop blend and the dosage it is probably at, you won't notice much.

The nitrates are way better than AAKG and you shouldn't really see Jack'd Up as an nitric oxide supplement as it's mainly geared towards focus and energy.

While it's nice to have, it would've been better if they left AAKG out and just increased the dosage of nitrates.

Creatine (4 forms: Monohydrate, Nitrate, HCL, Disodium Creatine Phosphate)

Creatine is one of the most studied ingredients out there, and it's most traditional form is in monohydrate.

(See this guide if you're looking for a pre workout that has a full dose of creatine)

There are really no studies on the other forms of creatine, most them are just theories.

That doesn't mean there's no point in having the extra forms.

Nitrates, whether with creatine or another ingredients, is really one of the best ingredients you can get for nitric oxide.

Compared to what was available in Jack3d (arginine), having nitrates is completely amazing, though it may not be at an effective dose.

It's still great to have as any amount is nice to have in a energy based pre workout like Jack'd.

Since there's only 2 grams of creatine though, you should probably add in more from another source to make sure you're getting enough.

Or you can take 1.5 scoops of Jack'd Up to make sure you're getting enough creatine as you would be getting 3 grams (perfect amount and just enough).

Beta Alanine

Beta Alanine is the perfect addition to any pre workout, it helps boost strength, endurance, and decrease fatigue like no other.

It's fantastic if you're engaging in high intensity exercise, but not as great if you're doing cardio-based, long duration exercises.

Beta Alanine buffers lactic acid from building up, allowing you to last longer and increase workout intensity.

Like creatine, it's one of the most studied ingredients in the supplement industry.

But there's a catch.

The studied dosage in those studies are at 3.2g, so taking 1.3g would not be enough. You would need to take at least 2 scoops to see some benefits.

Check out Mesomorph if you want 3.2g of beta alanine per scoop (with DMAA as well).

But you remember the tingles from Jack3d right? That's due to the Beta Alanine present in the formula.

You'll get the tingles when you drink up Jack'd.

It's that tingly feeling you get all over your body.

Some people don't feel it at all, but even if you do, don't worry, it's completely safe.

Caffeine (100mg)

We all know caffeine.

It's available everywhere and it's consumed all over the world for all kinds of reasons, mainly for it's boost in alertness and energy.

When you're combining DMAA with caffeine, you really don't need that much caffeine.

You've gotta thank Hi-Tech for disclosing the caffeine amount. So you're getting 100mg of caffeine with 25mg of DMAA. It's the perfect ratio of stimulants!

So with 2 scoops, you'd be getting 200mg of caffeine and 50mg of DMAA. If you're a lightweight and/or haven't used DMAA before, then you should try Jack'd at half a scoop.

Trust me, it's more than enough and it's better to have the stimulants under control rather than feeling like an heart attack is coming your way from taking too much!

1,3 Dimethylamylamine HCl (25mg)

Agmatine is the better version of arginine but it's nearly useless in this blend, just like AAKG.

The reason why is because it's after DMAA (25mg) which means it can't be any more than 25mg.

And you'd need at least 250mg of agmatine to see the slightest increase in nitric oxide.

We're glad there's some disclosed ingredients, but we'd really prefer not seeing pixie dusted ingredients, especially when it's REALLY pixie dusted like agmatine in this case.

We really recommend that you stack Jack'd with any of these (non-stimulant) nitric oxide supplements.

Schisandra Chinensis

Schisandra is a fantastic nootropic and mind-enhancing ingredient.

Like ginseng, it helps increase concentration, alertness and mood. Jack3d used to have an extract of this ingredient but it was never really recognized as much as DMAA was.

But since DMAA really won't make you feel “good” with any sort of euphoria, the synergy between this extract and DMAA will have you feeling good as schisandra helps increase dopamine production.

So here we have the special stimulant that makes Mesmorph for what it is.

Crazy Focus And Energy

So far, it looks like Jack'd is not going to get you super pumped like HemaVO2 or High Volume, but it will get your ass off the chair and will get, possibly, hitting PR's like no other pre workout.

Best Stacks With Jack'd Up (Or Any DMAA-Based Supplement)

Most DMAA, or nearly all, are not so much specialized in nitric oxide or pumps.

Stacking it for maximum endurance and pumps is 110% recommended. But you don't want to stack it with just any nitric oxide supplement.

Find N.O. boosters that are stimulant-free. So anything that is stim free in this guide or this guide is more than sufficient.

Flavors Available

Pretty standard flavors.

I hope they taste bad so people don't abuse it and ruin it for the rest of us. That'd be fair right?

The Next Version Of Jack3d

Update: You read correctly, Jack3d is back and it has DMAA and DMHA. Get it here.

Drop your dreams of getting Jack3d, and get Jack'd Up instead.

They are fighting the FDA for their BS and DMAA isn't even banned or illegal.

It's got a touch of nitrates, a little bit of agmatine but a nice dose of creatine and a little bit of beta alanine. It isn't meant for pumps but the energy aspect of it is hands down worthy of trying.

So if you're up to try something better than Jack3d and something that's a little bit next level, and don't mind taking 1.5 scoops for an intense workout, than Jack'd Up is for you.

Seeing how people are buying Jack3d for hundreds of dollars, this is actually worth every penny (not to mention much cheaper!)

Can't say it would replace Craze, but can definitely say it'll bump up your focus and energy more than your average pre workout.
