We’ve yet to see Apollon Nutrition make a pre workout that isn't good.
Double Impact v2 is the most intense pre workout, and it’s even better than Assassin.
It takes the best nitric oxide supplement and aggressive pre workout into one.
This pre workout, like most of Apollon's pre workouts, is going to be a limited run.
If you see it, buy it, we've never seen them make a two-in-one before (stims + nitric oxide).
Heads up, this is a bit expensive. Using FITFREK will save you some money but if you want something cheaper, just go for Assassin.
Apollon has done one thing..
And they’ve done it big.
Now with V2, they've done it bigger.
They took two of their best pre workouts, and combined it into one epic formula.
The result?
Double Impact v2.
This limited edition pre workout is the most potent we’ve seen from Apollon yet and it is a dream come true.
With over 20 ingredients, this is a bomb of a formula, as it uses 8 stimulants, and more than 10 ingredients that help with energy and pumps.
The label below is for the original Double Impact...
And this label is for the second version (Double Impact v2)...
If you were lucky enough to try the original Double Impact...
Then you know this is one of the strongest pre workouts.
And it even got better.
It now has DMHA, with the same amount of stims as the original.
This is basically two pre workouts in one.
It takes the best nitric oxide booster and the strongest pre workout into one.
Compared to Hooligan, this has almost as much of pure citrulline, along with 3.5g beta alanine, 2.5g betaine and 1.5g agmatine.
The pumps will be intense, along with the energy for ATP production will be high up, which will help with strength and muscle gains.
If you think it couldn’t get better after trying Assassin, wait until you try Double Impact.
It’s a formula that will be legendary for it’s epic combination of ingredients, along with high quality patented ingredients.
Each scoop packs at nearly 30 grams.
What each ingredient does and how it all falls together, you’re about to find out…
Citrulline gained its popularity for being a great way of increasing arginine levels, better than arginine itself.
Not only is this amino acid able to convert into l-arginine, but it can enhance power by elevating ATP production by removing ammonia, a toxic molecule that occurs from performing high rep and volume.
Various studies prove that supplementing with citrulline can increase performance, lower blood pressure, reduce soreness from exercise and improve vasodilation.
By reducing the lactic acid build up from exercise, it can improve overall performance, and it also makes an excellent ingredient to pair with beta alanine and agmatine, which are both in Double Impact.
It’ll improve vasodilation by increasing the diameter of blood vessels, which can help deliver oxygen rich blood to working muscles.
The dose here is at 7g, bigger and better than the average pre workout that we’ve seen. [1, 2]

Beta alanine works similarly to citrulline, in that it can decrease the lactic acid build up that occurs from performing multiple reps.
This naturally occurring amino acid works by increasing carnosine production, a dipeptide molecule that’s found in abundance within skeletal muscle.
By elevating carnosine levels, it can reduce the lactic acid build up that’s caused by performing multiple reps, helping sustain high intensity for a longer period of time.
Exhaustion from exercise occurs from the lactic acid accumulation, and with this 3.5g you’re getting more than what studies have used.
This means it’ll help you perform more reps when sets get in the 1-4 minute range. [3]
But this doesn’t just mean it improves endurance but research also suggests that it can help with lean gains. [4]
Your body does need to be saturated with beta alanine to make the most out of it, like creatine.
Luckily, this is an ingredient that’s easy and cheap to buy, and more pre workouts contain it.
This ingredient is one of the best you can get for size and strength.
Betaine, which is an osmolyte compound, works similarly to creatine, because it can maintain fluid levels and hydration of cells. [5]
Not only can it increase water balance in cells, but it can donate a methyl group to homocysteine. [6]
Homocysteine is a non-proteinogenic amino acid, and it’s an issue because it has a negative impact on muscle protein synthesis, along with other physiological functions. [7]
It’s fantastic for strength gains as it can help improve reps and training volume. [8]
This 2.5g dose is the clinical dose that was used in the studies.
We’ve already seen 7g citrulline, and 2.5g of betaine anhydrous.
And now, to ensure skin ripping pumps and elevated mood, Apollon added 1.5g of agmatine.
This is a pretty big dose as most pre workouts will only have around 1g or less.
While citrulline can increase arginine levels, agmatine can keep those levels high for a longer period of time. [11]
This is because agmatine inhibits the breakdown of arginine, allowing for more arginine to convert into nitric oxide. [12]
This dose is on the much higher side, with 1.5g considered to be a premium dosage as most pre workouts will only contain 500mg to 1g.
Agmatine also has a nice nootropic side to it as it can increase mood because it's found in the cerebrospinal fluid of the brain and spinal cord. [13]
This ingredient will help boost blood flow and keep you pumped, especially since there’s already a big 7g dose of citrulline in here.
Lion's mane is a mushroom that has several vitamins and minerals along with unique compounds like eriancines, erinacea lactones, polysaccharides, hericerins and glycoproteins. [14]
Polysaccharides are also known as beta-glucans and they are what brings the hype to lions mane.
There's a long list of what lion's mane can do, from being an antioxidant fto reducing fatigue and reducing inflammation. [15, 16]
The one popular benefit that it has is that it's been shown to increase the amount of nerve growth factor in the brain. [17, 18]
Nerve growth factor is a protein found in abundance in the brain and it's required for survival of nerve cells.
Lion's mane is a great enhancement agent when it comes to physical and mental activity.
This ingredient is best taken for the long term but it still has some immediate benefits that are beneficial in a pre workout.
Luckily it's combined with a choline based ingredient, Alpha GPC.
DMAE is a nootropic that’s a form of choline.
It’s often underrated but it’s a useful naturally occuring compound that’s found in fish fat, such as sardines and salmon.
The structure of DMAE is similar to choline but it has one less methyl group, which makes it stand out from your traditional choline forms like choline bitartrate and Alpha GPC.
It has a range of benefits from protecting the brain from signs of aging, to improving memory. [19]
While it’s exact mechanism of action isn’t fully understood, it’s known to be able to improve memory, concentration and even mood.
Like huperzine, DMAE can prevent the breakdown of acetylcholinesterase and it can increase choline levels. [20, 21]
In Double Impact, it’s combined with Alpha GPC, so there should be synergy here for improving and maintaining acetylcholine production.
Himalayan salt is full of minerals and electrolytes that we need to stay hydrated and healthy.
The 300mg dose here is decent as it provides 120mg sodium (5% DV).
Drinking water and eating a meal with fruits and carbs may help but salt plays a big role in improving the pump and athletic performance. [28]
If you tend to sweat a lot during exercise, it can help with the pump and performance.
There’s already 7g citrulline along with 1.5g agmatine, so himalayan salt will ensure you’re getting some minerals to keep your muscles nice and hydrated.
This is the first form of PEA in Double Impact and this is the first one.
It’ll jump start the feel good effects that you’ll get from this pre workout.
It forces the body to release more catecholamines, allowing you to feel good and motivated to train hard. [32]
The downside is that it’ll wear off quickly but the upside is that there’s a second form here that will help make the effects last longer.
The difference between Double Impact v1 and V2 is this ingredient right here.
Juglans regia extract is Apollon's way of including DMHA in their pre workout.
It's the same old stimulant, although it's often compared to DMAA, it's much more milder.
But when it's combined with other stimulants, which it is here.
The original Double Impact was already very strong, this with DMHA is levels stronger.
Taking this pre workout at half a scoop would probably be more than enough for most people.
There’s already a form of beta PEA, and with 300mg eria jarensis, the mood enhancing energy just gets better.
The 300mg dose here is decently big, with most dosing it between 200-250mg.
While there isn’t enough research proving how eria jarensis works, we do know it binds to the receptors of the brain, and it mimics neurotransmitters which then gets activated and releases dopamine.
It’s a strong neuromodulator and you’ll get some intense energy as it’s combined with caffeine and other stimulants in here.
Similarly to caffeine malate, theobromine takes more time to digest, leading to more and long lasting energy.
Theobromine is caffeine's cousin because of its structure similarities and stimulant effects. [35]
While it doesn't function exactly like caffeine, it still blocks adenosine receptors and it can inhibit phosphodiesterase, an enzyme that can deactivate messenger systems like cAMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate) and cGMP (cyclic guan. [36]
The benefits range from being able to suppress appetite, reduce inflammation, improve heart health and more. [37, 38, 39]
There's 300mg of theobromine in here, which is more than enough to see benefits.
Hordenine works in several ways, one is that it can free up the fatty acids within the body to be used as a fuel source.
The reason why it can do this is because it's a beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist [40].
It functions as a MAO inhibitor, meaning it can prolong the feel good effects from the PEA extracts in here. [41, 42]
So it'll even make the euphoria from the stimulants in Double Impact work longer as well.
The dose here is nearly double of what pre workouts will typically use.
