Review of: C4 Extreme

Purpose: Increase energy, pump and vasolidation. 


You'll get great pumps and it works but it isn't magical.


The highlight of C4 is nitrates and a little bit of energy.


Definitely far from cheap, a homemade pre workout may serve better.


It's one of the best sellers. Won't be hard to find.

We like

  • Nitrates are nice
  • Definitely boosts nitric oxide
  • Available everywhere and there's constantly deals, (BOGO etc.)

We Don't Like

  • Proprietary blend 
  • Tiny scoops of really just one great ingredient, nitrates.
  • Too much hype for a baby sized product.

Summary: Great for skin ripping pumps, C4 can really increase nitric oxide but we believe we're paying for their marketing schemes as it is way too overhyped.

If you're looking for a temporary pre workout, this may be the one.

But if you're looking for something that has a complete formula that benefits overall performance in your training, then go for something else.

​I’ve been lifting for a good 7 years now and I have gone through many pre workouts.

There are a very few that impress me, and many that I would never recommend to anyone.

If you’re reading this review, great for you.​

Never buy something without reading what other people have to say about it. I don’t care if Arnold swore by it, always research!​

Pre workouts are great for that little boost.​

I’ve gone from blindly buying pre workouts to knowning 99% of the ingredients that I need to look for in a pre workout.​

I recommend C4 and it’s one of the only few pre’s that have my recommendation with the small scoopers of 6 grams.

(I prefer the bigger pre workouts with more ingredients).​

A Few Tips Before Taking Any Pre Workout:

  • Asses your tolerance by using only half the serving.
  • Take only when needed (not every workout)
  • Avoid using stimulants on your days off (limit coffee or eliminate it)

And Here’s A Few Dont’s For C4:

  • Don't use for jogging
  • Not for jogging
  • Only use if for weight training
  • Don't depend on it.

C4 gave me some crazy pumps that also enhanced vascularity.

I took one and a half scoops today (and it’s not my first time taking it.)

The focus was also great, as I felt more of a mind to muscle connection.

It was much easier to focus and visualize.​

Mixes easily, tastes way too good. I had strawberry margarita today.​

I would recommend this to a friend but not at full price. Here’s one I found on Amazon for a fair price.
