  •  /  Top Pre Workouts For Muscle Gains – 2018 Buying Guide (Pumps, Energy, DMAA, & More)
By Nader Qudimat / Dec 16, 2017

I'm sure you've noticed there's something behind every beastly lifter...

And no I'm not talking about a spotter.

It's a powerful, energizing supplement that pushes them past their limits.

Okay that may not be 100% true, but you gotta admit, pre workouts are pure awesome.

They can fuel you for an intense workout and help you get into your "Terminator Zone".

But this isn't any list...

This is a carefully and uniquely crafted buying guide (with a top 10 list of course) but listed with pre workouts that cater to different purposes and goals...

The problem with most top 10 lists out there, is that there's nothing is in it for you.

You should pick a pre workout according to what you want to achieve, not what someone else recommends to everyone.

If you're on a budget, you can always check on our Best Deals page for ongoing sales and coupon codes.

Which List Do You Want To See?

Buying Guide: Pre Workouts (before workouts)

Purpose: Find a pre workout  that's best suited for you.

Must be high quality ingredients that are aimed to help the user.

Pre workouts MUST be able to meet their claims.

No hype, just the good (and bad) of each pre workout.

The Best Buying Guide To Pre Workouts

We believe there's absolutely no such thing as "the best pre workout".

So this guide will show you recommendations based on your preferences.

If you'd like to see our top 10 list, you can just choose to see our top 10 pre workout list below (which is based on our favorites).

Also check out the best ingredients / pre workout guide at the bottom of this...

No Pixie Dust or Proprietary Blends

Gains can't be made from mini 5 gram scoops that are filled with 5 to 10 different ingredients.

There may be some proprietary blends but it won't be 12 different ingredients hidden in a 5 gram blend.

Not For Sale, No Ads

We never accept bribes from supplement companies to get to a certain position in our list.

There are absolutely no ads on our website and we don't sell our opinions.

Pre workouts here are ranked according to a couple factors, one being that they are open-label (Some may not be fully disclosed but they still work), and that they have ingredients that support their claims.

Underground Hardcore to Muscle Building Pre Workouts

We could be like most sites and just give you what you want to see...

Which would be overpriced pre workouts with shiny labels and laughingly under-dosed ingredients that have absolutely no benefit for you.

We strive on the hardcore stuff.

Whether a pre workout is banned in your country or if it's just regular but clinically dosed formula's, we list it.

You can use any of these pre's (if you have the consent of a medical professional) as long as you don't go over the recommended servings or have any pre-existing conditions.

Top 10 Pre Workout Lists

Do you want exotic stimulants in your pre workout, or standard stimulants

APS's Mesomorph is at the top of our exotic pre workout list (click here to jump down to this list)...

Pre Extreme is at the very top of our standard list (click here to jump down to this list)...

If you want something with any hard hitting stims like 1,3 DMAA, ephedra, DMHA, etc, then click on the exotic stims list.

If you want something that is epic but doesn't contain hard hitting stimulants that are possibly banned, then go for the standard stims list...

Pick one below...

The first one you'll see is the "Top Pre Workouts With Exotic Stims", these include pre workouts that have exotic stimulants like DMAA, DMHA, DMBA, etc.

The second list is for pre workouts that do not have next level stimulants and just have common stims that are still strong like caffeine, yohimbine, etc.

Both lists will help you take your workouts to the next level.

But the biggest difference is that the first list has stimulants which have been introduced in the past few years and do not rely on caffeine for energy.

If you're being drug tested and / or have any medical conditions (or just a plain noobie with pre workouts), we recommend sticking to the second list.

You may just be cycling off hardcore stimulants so you'll want to stick to the 2nd list (without exotic stims) or even better, use the non stimulant pre workouts.

Top 10 Pre Workouts For Muscle Gains (With Exotic Stimulants)

Finally, after days and months of research, we've compiled the best and top 10 pre workouts overall.

It really wasn't easy and this list is never final, it's continuously being updated.

Some pre workouts are switched around, some are removed and others are added.

This list is continuously updated.

These pre workouts contain any hard hitting stimulants like; DMHA, DMAA, Ephedra, DMBA and more...

  • 4.9g Creatine, Taurine, L-Citrulline, Pouchung Tea, B-Phenylethylamine HCI
  • And more...

Take this at your own risk (though I've taken it many times and I've survived...ha!).

Frenzy is a joke if you're a supplement expert. Look at those ingredients, you can count them on one hand!

But believe us when we say this is simply the bomb....

Driven Sports is sneaky as a duck when it comes to the labels so we don't know if there's something tricky about this but we do know it increases aggression and motivation as if we were 18 again.

Remember when you first started training and you were young, you had an unbelievable source of rage (hopefully) right?

That's what you'll feel off this.

No you won't experience any feels or super tunnel focus (you will with the next pre workout on this list).

This is literally like Bullnox but on steroids.

If the Hulk and Superwoman had a son, this would be the result....

You can take it a step further and combining it with Craze V2 for crazy tunnel focus and endurance.

  • 4g L-Citrulline Malate

Nootropics, DMHA, pumps and citrulline.... What more could you possibly need?

Okay maybe less prop blends and more disclosures right?

Limitless is more than a pre workout, it is a hybrid between being a true mental and physical enhancer.

The formula contains phenylpiracetem, a super strong brain booster which is one of the many racetams.

It has the potential to not only boost memory and learning, but motivation and drive as well.

Limitless also has DMHA, 2-amino-6-methylheptane, which is the more euphoria promoting ingredient (in comparison to DMAA).

It finishes the formula strong with 4 grams of pure citrulline and a full gram of agmatine.

  • 3g Beta-O (Beta-Alanine Ororate)
  • 1g LOLA (L-Ornithine L-Aspartrate)
  • 4g Citrulline
  • 2g Glycerol
  • 1g Agmatine
  • Eria Jarensis, Bitter Orange, Caffeine, B-Phenylethylamine HCL
  • And much more...

HyperMax is exactly what the name suggests.

It combines ingredients which work in synergy for more energy and performance in the gym.

It starts off with beta alanine but it is a new form as it's bonded with Orotate.

Orotate, also known as orotic acid, will help drive up carnosine production.

And then we have the other ingredients like the nitric oxide blend of citrulline (4 grams), glycerol and agmatine, which are all fully dosed and will provide some nasty pumps.

The stimulant blend is also well thought out as it has Eria Jarensis, a exotic and focus boosting ingredient and much more.

This is a great pre for stim lovers and pump chasers alike.

  • 5 Patent Ingredients
  • 4g Citrulline
  • 2g HydroMax
  • 1.5g Nitrosigine
  • 1g Agmatine
  • And Much More

The Demigod of a company has jam packed this pre workout with all kind goodies.

For every 2 scoops, you get more than enough ingredients to blast through your workouts with energy, strength and pumps.

Olympus Labs kicked off their original Conqu3r, (beastly pre workout!) and replacing it with this version, which is even better.

It's takes the best features of the original and makes it even better with some upgrades.

For every 2 scoops, you get more than enough ingredients to blast through your workouts with energy, strength and pumps.

The legend is back and it's better than ever.

With multiple pre workouts made by Gaspari attempting to better their original Superpump 250, nothing has ever come close...

You'll get some awesome energy and focus with the big dosage of DMAA (70mg), 250mg of caffeine and 30mg of Theobroma.

DMAA is just the touch of what Superpump can do...

It's also got hefty dosages of citrulline silicate and agmatine silicate, both are super effective nitric oxide boosters.

To top it off, it features both 4-hydroxyisoleucine and cinnamic aldehyde which help with insulin sensitivity and can help store more glycogen in muscles.

DVST8 is the first pre workout have clinically dosed ingredients combined with DMHA.

With Pre Jym and Pre Kaged around, you'd think nothing could come close.

And with Mesomorph in the first position of our top 10, there's just no more room for a unique pre workout, right?

DVST8 is a different kind of pre workout.

It has fully dosed ingredients that'll provide massive pumps, muscle volumization and muscular endurance to take your workouts to a whole new level.

With 8 grams of pure citrulline, 3.2 grams of beta alanine, DMHA and a combination of 3 different types of caffeine, it'll provide a nice flow of energy that'll last your whole workout.

BloodShr3d Featured

  • 1g Green Coffee
  • 400mg Sophora Japonica
  • 250mg Caffeine
  • 100mg Rhodiola Rose Extract
  • 100mg Vanillin
  • 360mg Extreme Energy, Focus, & Thermogenic Trifecta

Alphamine reigned as the best powder based thermogenics out there, but since they've reformulated it into something soft, there's been an empty gap in the market for this category.

So BloodShr3d was born (thanks Olympus Labs!).

BloodShr3d takes caffeine, Eria Jarensis, J.Regia and a whole bunch of ingredients to make something powerful for energy and drive.

It uses a full gram of green coffee, extracted for Chlorogenic acid, which stimulates fatty acids and decreases insulin resistance.

It features a moderate dose of caffeine (250mg), you'll likely be energized from the extreme energy blend (containing a DMAA alternative, 2-amino-5 but also eria jarensis which is packed with a number of PEA type of ingredients).

You'll get a nice steady flow of euphoria from BloodShr3d here.

The war edition doesn't have alpha-yohimbine, while the raw edition contains a hefty amount of 6mg.

Warning: giant dose of Eria Jarensis ahead!

Kraken is packing energy, focus and euphoria in one bottle, and most impressive part about this pre workout is that it's only using 200mg of caffeine.

The reason for that is because it's using big doses of Eria, DMHA, NALT and vitamin B12.

So as you can see, they are making sure you are getting the best bang for your buck here by using premium sources of stimulants (instead of solely depending on caffeine).

That's not all though, it also has 3.2g beta alanine, 4g citrulline, 2g hydromax and a full gram of agmatine (and more of course...)

  • 6g Citrulline Malate
  • 3.2g Beta-Alanine
  • 1g Agmatine Sulfate
  • 1g Taurine

RedCon1 has a strong pre workout here and it's achieved this top 10 list while keeping a moderate caffeine dose (250mg!).

Total War combines multiple stimulants to work in synergy to put you in a state of high alert and focus.

With 100mg DMHA, 125mg Jarensis extract, 50mg theobroma coca extract, 25mg higenmine, and 2mg alpha-yohimbine, there's no doubt you'll experience energy from all levels here.

The formula is disclosed so there's no guessing what each ingredient is dosed at.

You would think Craze has made it's way into in this bottle after trying it...

Hydrazine is a hardcore pre workout that will send you a kick right in the ass.

It has a formula that doesn't solely use caffeine for energy (sound familiar?).

The various ingredients in here should increase focus and performance and really put you in the zone to destroy your workouts.

Now the ingredients in here do not look traditional but do not let that fool you.

The only reason why this isn't in the #1 spot in the list is because of the price.... (though it's worth it 100%!)

  • 4.5g Creatine, L-Taurine, Creatine Nitrate, Creatinol-O-Phosphate, Agmatine Sulfate
  • 65mg DMAA

This here isn't a pre workout for the weak...

It's got something most pre workouts don't, and that's a big fat dose (65mg) of DMAA.

That's not all it's got though.

Every scoop leads to a super intense tunnel-like focused that'll also ignite some strong pumps and limitless-like energy.

If you like that word, limitless, then you most likely have used Craze, and this is probably the next best thing.

It won't increase your heart rate to the point of no return, like many concentrated pre workouts, instead, it'll place you into a very dark, but narrow pointed focus.

Creatine nitrate, 3.2g of beta alanine and a whole bunch of focus and energy based ingredients are included in Mesomorph.

If you're new to pre workouts, you should start with something that has way less stimulants and a bit more ergonomic based ingredients.

Top Pre Workouts For Muscle Gains (With Standard Stims)

You're here because you either are an athlete who is being drug tested, and / or you have health conditions that won't let you have exotic stimulants (you should always check with a doctor before using any supplement to get your A-OK).

These pre workouts are a bit on the healthier side as they use traditional stimulants.

  • 6g Citrulline Malate
  • 1.5g Hydromax
  • 1g Agmatine
  • 600mg N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine
  • 2g Creatinol-O-Phosphate
  • 2g Taurine
  • 250mg Caffeine (blend)
  • 100mg TeaCrine
  • 750mcg Alpha-Yohimbine

Perform Kinetics is made by a company that you probably never ever heard of.

ATP, or Aspire Train Perform, has produced one of the best pre workouts and it doesn't even contain any exotic stims (like DMHA or DMAA for that matter).

Recovery and Stress

Now what makes this pre workout different is that it contains Rhodiola Rosea, a strong adaptogen to help you combat stress and speed up recovery.

You'll also find yourself recovering much quicker with the help of N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine and Creatinol-O-Phosphate (which will help delay that burn you get from performing multiple reps).

There's also a big dose of TeaCrine (100mg) as it's usually dosed at only 50mg (and it's a super expensive ingredient!).

You'll get some long lasting energy from this for sure.

The nitric oxide blend is packed with 4 different kinds to get you all kinds of pumps and for a long period of time too.

If you do not want beta alanine or creatine in your pre workout but want something to help you not only feel good but motivated and strong, you'll love Perform Kinetics.

Overall, you'll most likely keep coming back to this pre workout as it seems to live up to it's claims...

  • 8g Citrulline Malate
  • 4g Carnosyn Beta Alanine
  • 3.5g Creatine Mono
  • 2.5g Betaine Anhydrous
  • 1.5g L-Tyrosine
  • 325mg Organic Caffeine
  • 300mg AlphaSize

Move out the way mass building pre workouts, there's a new pre in town and it's not showing any signs of weaknesses.

Pinnacle is a mostly disclosed formula that combines ergogenic aids with nitric oxide boosters and mind enhancing ingredients like AlphaSize.

Most of these "fully loaded" pre workouts are not going to have anymore than 3.2 grams of beta alanine, you'll most probably see 2 grams if you're lucky.

Not Pinnacle.

It has 4 grams of the itchy stuff!

So if you've never taken over 3 grams in one sitting, you will either love or hate the tingling sensation going through your body.

It also packs 8 grams citrulline malate (highest amount we've seen), 3.2g creatine (enough for the day), and 2.5g of betaine anhydrous for added strength and size benefits.

How does that sound for a drink that'll boost a little bit of your performance?

  • 10g Cyclic Dextrin
  • 5g Creatine
  • 3.7g Betaine Anhydrous, Beta-Alanine, Creatinol-O-Phosphate

Pre workouts are divided by concentrated and performance enhancers, but PreCre is a combination of both.

Loaded with carbs, nitric oxide, muscle builders, creatine, and a whole bunch of energy, you'll likely stick to this pre workout for a long time to come.

Some ingredients are under dosed if you're taking 1 scoop, like betaine anhydrous is at 1.5g, and 1.2g of beta alanine.

Every single scoop has 24 grams, so you would be getting 48 grams of active ingredients with two scoops.

PreCre is it's own category of pre workout as it's well balanced, full of muscle builders and can potentially be a all-in-one supplement as it's got all the basics (creatine, beta alanine, betaine).

The only downside is that it doesn't have BCAA's which would make it even better.

  • 6g BCAA’s
  • 6g L-Citrulline Malate 1:1
  • 3g L-Arginine AlphaKetoglutarate
  • 3g Creatine MagnaPower
  • 2.5g CarnoSyn Beta Alanine
  • 2g L-Arginine
  • 2g Tyrosine
  • 1.5g Betaine Anhydrous
  • 1g Agmatine Sulfate
  • 750mg Choline Bitartrate

The demand for fully packed pre workouts is clear.

If we’re going to move forward, we’re going to need monster pre workouts that have scoops bigger than protein powders.

MaxQ has taken this trend and went all out with one of the biggest pre’s we’ve seen to date…

Maxed Out has a masterpiece of a formula that contains only fully dosed ergogenics.

Beginning with BCAA’s, this hefty 6 gram serving will stimulate muscle protein synthesis by activating the mTOR pathway.

By doing this, you’ll be in an anabolic state, with improved recovery times and reduced soreness.

We like to see citrulline in it’s pure form without malate, but even with malate, there’s 6 grams in here which means 3g of citrulline.

Better pumps and vasodilation is what you’ll get with this strong N.O. booster.

While arginine has dropped in popularity due to the fact that it just isn’t as bioavailable as the other vasodilators.

But by attaching a AKG (alpha-ketoglutarate), absorption rates are improved so you’ll get a great pump from this ingredient.

Which also explains why they also added Arginine (2g) in here.

Maxed out includes a full gram of agmatine for further pumps and increased vasodilation.

Agmatine also has some mental support as it can have a uplifting effect.

There’s tons of research on regular creatine monohydrate but Maxed Out is using a patented form called Creatine Magnapower.

It’s just creatine bonded to a magnesium salt as it’s suppose to increase bioavailability and absorption rates.

The second most researched ingredient is beta alanine and we see a nice dose of 2.5g here.

You can take up to 3.2g daily for maximum benefits and it doesn’t have be all at once.

For energy and cognition support, there’s 3 different forms of caffeine totaling to 293mg and a monster 2g dose of tyrosine.

Choline, as well as huperzine A is included for further mental benefits to help you get in the zone during training.

Betaine anhydrous is a bit low on dosage at 1.5g but like JYM and Kaged Muscle, they might be saving the other 1 gram in their post workout.

Now since there’s tons of ingredients, absorption may be an issue but thankfully MaxQ ended the formula with 10mg of BioPerine.

This is clearly one of the best “clean” pre workouts out there.

You won’t feel jittery at all.

Instead, Maxed Out will put you in the zone, get you primed for muscle growth and recovery without the dixie dust dosages B.S. If the price wasn’t so high and it was more widely available (say more than 1 retailer), we’d place this much high on this top 10 list.

You do get what you pay for after all.

If you want something to get you feeling insane with other stims like DMAA then check out our strongest pre workout guide.

Now here is a pre workout that is not only completely disclosed, but can be used without feeling like you've taken in 15 cups of coffee.

Pre Hak is a new pre workout that combines ergogenic aids with a decent blend of focus compounds that'll get you into the mindset of zoning into the iron and your muscles.

It has lots of citrulline malate and N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine to ensure that you recover and go head-on with full power and endurance with your training.

  • 6g Citrulline Malate
  • 3.2 Beta Alanine
  • 1.5g Creatine Nitrate
  • 1.5g Betaine Anhydrous
  • 1.5g Nitrosigine
  • 300mg Caffeine

Everyone knows C4 for being the ultimate pre workout for pumps and a bit of energy.

It's labeling has been over the top with it's shiny-ness and marketing, you'd wonder if you're really paying for the servings or the hype.

C4 Ultimate kicks it off differently though. It's more than just creatine nitrate and a bunch of stimulants.

They've taken all the best features of their previous C4's and made it into a whole new pre workout that takes things to the next level.

Like most fully dosed pre workouts, it starts off strong with 6 grams of citrulline, packs a full days dose of beta alanine (3.2g) and has a mix of nitric oxide boosters that'll only make your pumps last longer and hit harder.

This is a true one scooper unlike their previous C4's. If it wasn't for their big prop blend, we'd place this higher on the list.

  • 8g Citrulline Malate
  • 3.2g Beta Alanine
  • 3g Creatine
  • 2.5g Betaine Anhydrous
  • 325mg Caffeine
  • 150mg Alpha-GPC

ALTIUS is all over the best sellers list on Amazon, but it's not because they've created a one 5 gram scooper for you take and overdose on.

Jacked Factory, the company behind the pre workout, has created something that can not only increase endurance and strength but overall performance as well.

It jams 8 grams of citrulline malate (higher than most pre workouts) with a full days dose of beta alanine (3.2g) and betaine anhydrous for strength and size.

The focus blend is a bit short but to the point with 150mg Alpha-GPC and 325mg of caffeine.

This makes it a great pre workout for someone who wants something simple but super effective.

It also tastes great even though it uses natural sweeteners and flavoring (stevia), most pre workouts that try natural flavoring just plain taste bitter!

From the 7 simple performing boosting ingredients to the natural flavoring, this is a pre workout to stock up on like doomsday was coming.

  • 19.6g Scoops
  • 7g Citrulline
  • 5g HydroMax
  • 1.5g Nitrosigine
  • 600mg AlphaSize
  • 300mg ElevATP

CelluVOL brings pumps to a whole new level.

With 5 massively dosed patented ingredients, you can expect yourself to be full and pumped beyond any N.O. supplement can ever deliver.

Outdoing everything we’ve seen thus far, we’ve never seen a pre workout containing more than 6g of pure citrulline, and CelluVOL contains a massive 7g dose.

This strong pre workout also contains a huge 5 gram dose of HydroMax, another ingredient that is almost always dosed at 3 grams or less.

Next up is 1.5g Nitrosigine, a super long lasting N.O. booster that can last up to two weeks (according to one study).

AlphaSize, aka Alpha GPC, is a high quality form of choline that has been seen to not only increase cognitive functions, but also strength and overall performance.

Last but not least, to keep ATP production up, is ElevATP.

The studies that show ElevATP to work only used 150mg but CelluVOL contains double that dose! Expect some massive swole action to happen here.

Your strength and performance will shoot up, thanks to AlphaSize and ElevATP (not to mention Citrulline and Nitrosigine!).

This whole formula has been put together with a lot of thought and science, and this doesn’t even have stimulants (you can add your own as it’s always cheap!).

While this pre workout is expensive, you get what you pay for as you will not find anything that contains all these patented ingredients with these dosages.

Try it out.

And you can take half servings if cost is an issue, and still have massive pumps!

Containing 7g BCAA's, Quake is sure to keep you going and performing at your peak.

This pre workout is easily 3 times bigger than their previous, which thankfully has been discontinued for years.

Very few supplements contain 6g of pure L-Citrulline per serving as most only use around 3g or the cheaper form, Citrulline Malate.

You'd need to take around 12 grams of Citrulline Malate to get 6g of citrulline!

While some people do prefer to use the more expensive form, L-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, we barely notice a difference between the two forms and some supplements will go as far as using both.

Following that is the PeakO2 blend, a blend consisting of mushrooms that can enhance performance.

An added benefit of this blend is that one of the ingredients has been documented to reduce the time it takes for testosterone to convert into DHT as well as limiting estrogen.

This blend isn't only great for bodybuilders but athletes, MMA fighters and powerlifters as human trials have proven it to be. For maximum N.O. levels, 1.5g arginine nitrate is here.

This powerful nitric oxide booster can enhance vasodilation through two pathways so you'll induce pumps from all angles as there's already citrulline in this formula.

LCLT or L-Carnitine L-Tartrate has been documented to enhance recovery by reducing damage done to muscle fibers from training.

For energy, cardiovascular and focus support, Capros, caffeine and L-theanine are all packed in Quake 10.0 as well.

To make sure everything gets absorbed, AstraGin will help increase nutrient uptake like BioPerine.

The price may seem high, and it is, but with all of these ingredients and proven benefits, it's easy to understand its value.

The servings are a bit weird on the label but to get the full amounts, you'd have to take 2 scoops.

If you're not trying to break any PR's or go intense, then you'll benefit from one scoop as well.

Quake 10.0 is a major game changer and it's coming from a company really isn't known for epic pre workouts.

Choose the "Lemon Flavor Caffeine Free" option if you want stim-free.

Legion is one of Amazon's best selling pre workouts.

With thousands of reviews, and a strong formula like that, there's no way it couldn't make this top 10 list.

Containing 8g of Citrulline DL-Malate, you'll get some nasty pumps and a nice performance boost as it'll delay the lactic acid build up that occurs with high reps.

A massive 4.8g dose of beta alanine is included, which is nice but it might be overwhelming if you're not used to the tingles.

Research has shown 3.2g total daily is all that's needed but there might be further benefits by taking this much!

For strength and muscle growth, 2.5g of betaine anhydrous is included.

Next up is L-Ornithine HCL, a nitric oxide booster that can reduce fatigue and burn fat.

Both caffeine and L-theanine is included at 350mg, which is nice as L-theanine can smooth out the energy, making you energized for a longer time without facing a hard crash.

The biggest difference between Legion Pulse and other pre workouts is that it's naturally sweetened and flavored.

This is a bonus since some people just prefer the natural stuff.

There's no doubt you'll make some nice gains with muscle and strength with the help of Legion Pulse.

  • 274 Organic Caffeine

Pre-Kaged is packed with all kinds of ingredients that'll get you feeling like Superman's adopted son but in a good way.

Pre-Kaged is more of a "natural" pre workout, the flavoring, ingredients (BCAA's and citrulline are both fermented so safe for vegan's).

Each scoop provides 274mg of caffeine, 6.5 of pure l-citrulline for epic pumps and 1.85 of focus enhancing tyrosine (1g is coming from N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine).

Why 274mg of caffeine? Any more than that then you'll be more likely to feel anxious and edgy.

So it's great if you don't want feel too cracked up after a workout.

It's understandable because it's literally loaded with muscle building ingredients.

PreSeries Bulk is a supp you'll keep buying over and over again, as it contains ergogenics that do not need cycling.

It's not "buy it once, get the crack-energy, and build up tolerence" kind of deal.

It's jam packed with massive doses of ingredients like 6 grams of citrulline malate, 4 grams of beta alanine, 4 grams of BCAA's, 2.5 grams of betaine anhydrous, and a whole lot more.

Not to mention the energy aspect, it has 500mg of choline, 180mg of caffeine, and a little bit of theanine for Jedi-like focus.

NutraBio is making it look super easy.

With what they've done with Pre-Extreme, it's quite amazing as it has quality ingredients with fully disclosed information (even the fillers are disclosed!

For energy, it's all going to come to how much you can handle because this has got a mix of 500mg of stimulants, or it probably wouldn't be called "Extreme"

If you can handle that, then you're in for a mighty fine treat.

You'll get some swole on as it has 3 different nitric oxide ingredients which includes agmatine (1g), citrulline malate (yields to 4g pure citrulline), and 750mg of nitrosigine.

Multiple Muscle Building Ingredients!

There's also betaine anhydrous (1.5g), creatine (2g) and 3.5 grams of leucine. You may add in some extra creatine to get your fully days worth but you'll still destroy your workout with this.

The thing that we love about this is that it's got 15 grams of cyclic dextrin (carbs) which helps with gylcogen, making it perfect for those early morning workouts if you don't have time to load up with breakfast!

Staple Pre Workout

The only pre workout you'll buy over and over again.

This is one of those pre workouts that'll give you that mental and physical boost for every single one of your workouts.

It's packed with ergogenic aids so cycling is not really required unless you're cycling caffeine of course.

I love Blackstone labs dust extreme. I’m on a ketogenic cutting diet and it gives me crazy energy to train even on low/zero carbs.

    • Nader says:

Ain’t it crazy how much energy we can get from pre workouts, no matter the stage we’re in?

One example is when I’m super tired, slept like crap, and heck, probably skipped out on breakfast and jumped straight to my pre workout. I’d hit the gym and possibly even break some PR’s.

It begs the question…could we achieve any of this without strong stims and paying the price when we take a break from stims? lol…

      Cool site BTW Dan 🙂

I dont like to take NoExplode anymore. I couldnt sleep and it made me so edgy! I was a mess. I now use the Dr Max Powers Anabolic Stack – and yes, it is alot of pills, but this stuff works better than NoExplode and I found it gives better pumps and I can last alot longer at the gym. Its a new brand – I never heard of it, but I love this stack !

    Hi Nader,
I am James from Malaysia. One of the most detailed and best writings i have ever read. I am collecting exotic pres all around the world. I have about 100 tubs sealed pres in my freezer.

Again, love reading your articles. Informative and no bull.

    All the best.

    • Hi again James 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by…

Whoa 100 tubs! What’s the motivation here?

I never have more than a couple full tubs as I tend to use them up pretty quick. Though I never throw out the empty containers unless it takes too much space.

Do you by any chance have muscle marinade? That’s one pre that I wish was still around.

      • James says:

Haha, i am collecting them as collection . I only open few tubs of them . I have sealed tubs of Unstoppable v1, original Angel Dust with AMP citrate, Prodigy XT amp version, Frenzy, Detonate original and few other discontinued pre workout.

I always keep them in my freezer. Sometimes i will take them out and wipe them with cloth then return to the freezer. Haha.

I am waiting for my shipment of Hemo Shock, God of Rage, Adrenolyn Bulk and Cut (moonshine version and ordinary fruit punch version) and old jack.

I had a tub of muscle marinade few years ago but i gave it to my friend. Never tried it .

        • Oh man you’ve got quite the collection indeed!

I imagine we’d be best friends if we ever met, haha.

Do you have any pre’s that you haven’t even tried lol?

          What’s your all-time favorite?

If it was me I would put a giant lock on that freezer!

Man Id love to see a picture of what your collection looks like 😀
